Be part of something truly Apple. At the Apple Museum, we’ve built more than just an exhibit, we’ve created a living, breathing celebration of Apple’s legacy. And the best part? We’re working on it together. Whether you’re restoring old machines, brainstorming the next great interactive demo, or editing vintage commercials, we welcome passionate people who want to roll up their sleeves and help make this museum unforgettable. No suits, no hierarchy, just good vibes, cool tech, and a shared obsession for all things Apple. You don’t need to be an expert, just bring your curiosity, creativity, and maybe a soft spot for Bondi Blue.

What Volunteering Looks Like

Volunteering here doesn’t come with a fixed job description. One day you might be in the depot helping test an old iMac G4, the next you’re collaborating on an interactive timeline or rebuilding a vintage commercial frame by frame. Some volunteers work remotely, designing, coding, or editing from home, others drop by occasionally to tinker, repair, or contribute ideas. It’s as diverse as our collection, and just as exciting.

Learning Together

We don’t run formal courses or training programs, but that doesn’t stop the learning. From soldering tricks to 3D printing hacks, we teach and inspire each other. With volunteers ranging from 17 to 70+, there’s always someone to learn from. Working side-by-side (or screen-to-screen), you’ll find yourself picking up new skills just by being part of it.

Time Commitment? You Decide.

Some of our volunteers help out on a project once a month. Others are practically part of the furniture. It’s totally up to you.

The only thing we ask: if you say yes to a project, especially one with a deadline, we count on you to follow through. We’re working on something meaningful together and every piece counts.
