The Apple Museum will be the largest tribute to Apple’s history in Europe. The museum is located in Utrecht at The Wall, and is currently under construction in preparation for the opening. The museum was created thanks to a driven team of more than 50 volunteers. Together they bring the history of Apple to life with a unique collection, interactive exhibitions and fascinating stories, spread over more than 2,000 m². We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to help behind the scenes of this special museum.
Volunteering here doesn’t come with a fixed job description. One day you might be in the depot helping test an old iMac G4, the next you’re collaborating on an interactive timeline or rebuilding a vintage commercial frame by frame. Some volunteers work remotely, designing, coding, or editing from home, others drop by occasionally to tinker, repair, or contribute ideas. It’s as diverse as our collection, and just as exciting.
We don’t run formal courses or training programs, but that doesn’t stop the learning. From soldering tricks to 3D printing hacks, we teach and inspire each other. With volunteers ranging from 17 to 70+, there’s always someone to learn from. Working side-by-side (or screen-to-screen), you’ll find yourself picking up new skills just by being part of it.
Some of our volunteers help out on a project once a month. Others are practically part of the furniture. It’s totally up to you. The only thing we ask: if you say yes to a project, especially one with a deadline, we count on you to follow through. We’re building something meaningful together and every piece counts.

Help us build the interactive heart of the museum. From touchscreen apps and video players to immersive digital timelines, there’s no shortage of creative tech to dive into.
We're bringing Apple’s story to life with commercials, documentaries, and visitor experiences. Join the crew editing clips that range from historic moments to quirky easter eggs.
At the Apple Museum, we’re building more than just an exhibit—we're creating a living, breathing celebration of Apple’s legacy. And the best part? We're doing it together. Whether you’re restoring old machines, brainstorming the next great interactive demo, or editing vintage commercials—we welcome passionate people who want to roll up their sleeves and help make this museum unforgettable. No suits, no hierarchy, just good vibes, cool tech, and a shared obsession for all things Apple. You don’t need to be an expert—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and maybe a soft spot for Bondi Blue.
