Museum Host – Volunteer role

At the Apple Museum, we’re building more than just an exhibit—we’re creating a living, breathing celebration of Apple’s legacy. And the best part? We’re doing it together.

We are looking for someone to support a warm, safe, and informative visitor experience while helping protect the museum’s collection and environment. The museum’s host acts as a friendly ambassador for the museum.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide information about the museum and exhibitions
• Supervise gallery spaces and ensure respectful visitor behaviour
• Assist at reception, shop, or ticketing during busy periods
• Maintain a visible presence and follow safety and security procedures
• Support staff and fellow volunteers as a flexible team player
• Keeping the museum clean and all of its equipment
• Assist with set-up and guest support during events
• Supporting guided tours for visitors upon request, following internal guidelines and training

Skills & Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch with good English (other languages are a plus)
• Friendly, reliable, and service-oriented
• Strong communication skills and eye for detail
• Proactive team player with interest in art and culture
• Able to stand for longer periods and follow procedures

Training & Commitment

• Training provided (welcome, collection, safety & security)
• Flexible shifts of 3–4
• hours Availability 1–2 days per week, including weekends
